Bearing Pullers
Autotronics, Inc. manufactures a line of internal bearing pullers for use on miniature bearings with inside diameters ranging in size from 1/16 to 3/4 in.; metrics include 2.5mm to 11mm. These pullers are especially effective for blind holes where two or three arm pullers cannot be used and in bores where a puller cannot be inserted underneath the bearing.
The use of a puller minimizes impact damage and lessens the incidence of brinnelled bearings and damaged raceways. Autotronics bearing pullers are made from high tensile strength hardened tool steel, have knurled handles, and are for metric and inch diameter bearings.
Pullers are available individually or in sets of five. The sets are defined by size: the small puller sets are for inside diameters ranging from 3/32 to ¼ in., or 2.5 to 6 mm; the large puller sets are for removal of bearings with inside diameters of 5/16 to 3/4 in., and 7 to 11 mm.
